New 15", 17" and 19" Rear-Mount LCD Touchmonitors Now in Stock The
1739L
17" and 1939L
19" rear-mount touchmonitors are now
in stock, as well as the previously released 1537L
15" model.. These
monitors were previewed at the ICE/ATEI show in London. The LCDs feature
brilliant, high-quality panels with wide viewing angles and Elo's all
glass IntelliTouch surface wave touch technology for the utmost in
optical quality and durability. Both have a new, more compact form
factor and include Elo's
unique injection-molded minibezel with watertight seal. All Elo products
include worldwide agency approvals and are RoHS compliant. See Press

Breakthrough New Touch Technology Announced by EloElo TouchSystems is very proud to announce a completely new and unique touch technology—Acoustic Pulse Recognition. APR technology combines the best of other touch technologies, providing a whole new set of benefits that were only partially achieved before. While Elo is initially launching APR directed at the retail and restaurant Point-of-Sale (POS) market, it is a technology the gaming market should keep an eye on nevertheless. Elo Expands its Entry-Level Desktop Touchmonitor LineThe 1000 series product
line now includes models from 12" to 19" and provides a truly
economical solution with Elo's renowned quality. Perfect for player
tracking, bingo, cashier cages, and lottery point-of-sale applications,
all are "designed
for touch" with stable base, lockable controls on the side, sealed
touchscreen, and Elo's proven expertise and reliability built in. The
1215L and 1515L models
are available with AccuTouch five-wire resistive technology or IntelliTouch
surface wave technology; the 1715L and 1915L with
IntelliTouch. All include a dual serial/USB touch interface. |

RoHS ComplianceThe Restriction on
Hazardous Substances, RoHS, issued by the European Union, are aimed
at reducing the hazardous materials content in electronic products
as well as increasing the recycling efforts for these products and
take effect July 1, 2006. Elo is committed to developing and maintaining
controlled business, design, and manufacturing processes with environment-friendly
products, which meet or exceed the limits as set forth by the RoHS
directive. Elo expects to be in full compliance with the RoHS directive
